There is a rumor that we may get eight (8) feet of snow this winter.
The last time September turned cold so fast showed a lot of snow in the
Klamath Basin. We're busy this week trying to harvest as much as
possible out of the garden and greenhouses and to get the wood stove
prepared to heat the house on the cold winter mornings. This update

producing units that are more powerful, quiet, and efficient than ever
before. Here are a few features you'll want to take into account before
buying your next machine.
Be Quiet
If there had to be one turn-off about generators, it would likely be noise. Because units run on gas-powered engines to produce electricity, it's hard to avoid the commotion that comes from something running at a high rpm. However, some manufacturers have figured out a way to tackle the problem and are producing units that can run so quiet, you might not even know they're on. These units are typically more expensive, but it's worth the cost, and if you plan to use a generator in a campground or area with noise ordinances, it's a necessity.
Don't Pollute
Second to the noise, you'll want to consider a generator's exhaust system—especially if you plan to use it in an area with strict emissions regulations. an explosion of green food source volume enhancement, rye grain is the
only choice that covers all areas. Rye grain (not rye grass!) is an
annual planting power source for whitetail plots whether you planned to

grass varieties, Fall rye can be used to greatly enhance your food plot

What kind of target buck are you bowhunting? Years ago I coined the term
of core or non core bucks to describe the general movements of target
whitetail bucks on small parcels. By determining which variety of buck
that you are bowhunting - core or non core - you can determine the
specific hunting strategy that you need for each target buck. While core
bucks can and should be hunted (if you don't want to lose them to your
neighbors during the rut) successfully throughout most of the season, a
non core buck can still be hunted just as successful, but only during
very specific and defined opportunities. Non core mature bucks account
for roughly half of all of my best bowhunting bucks because while they
didn't live on the parcel often, they predictably showed up during the
daylight when I could count on their movements the most. In order to

Canning | Prepping | HOARDING???
Here in TN, we have people who live out in the "boonies." They have no way (especially in the winter) to get to a store. Canning is NOT"hoarding." If you have more than ONE can of anything in your pantry, do you consider that "hoarding?" If COURSE not! 365 canned vegetables is what you need for a year for 2 people. Add 365 canned meat, 365 fruit, etc is over 1000 jars, but doesn't even include jelly, ketchup, mayo, mustard, butter, lard, or any kind of dry goods needed for making bread (flour, yeast, powdered milk, etc). And what if you like peanut butter? How many of THOSE would you be using in a year? Folks, that is not hoarding, that is SURVIVING! A lot of these people don't even have electricity. Anyone who thinks canning your own food is "hoarding" needs to go to a doctor and find out what MEDS you should be taking!
