Cheating The Wind For Hunting Whitetails

Scent control for whitetails takes a lot more than just understanding which way the wind is blowing. In fact, I've found that you can actually cheat the wind when you are bowhunting whitetails. Wind direction and thermals can be used, especially in the morning, to fool an old bucks nose nearly every time. Do you hunt in hills, conifers or small ridge systems? Then these thermal and wind rules for deer hunting, are for you! Scent control for big whitetail bucks can be easily managed on your next bowhunt, often, regardless of the wind direction
